Call 1-877-340-3602 for Meth Addiction Help
The country is becoming more and more aware of the crystal meth epidemic, and nowhere is it more of a problem than in Louisiana. This is mostly due to the fact that there is a lot of rural living in this state, allowing for meth to be produced and consumed with less of a chance of detection. Adults and children are seeking the euphoria and larger than life energy that meth promises. But what they forget, or fail to see is that crystal meth is a lethal combination of chemicals that will cause psychosis and death quicker than any other drug.
Residents of this state need to be aware not only of the harmful effects of crystal meth, but also of the signs of crystal meth abuse. Someone who is abusing the drug will change dramatically. Their weight will decrease signficantly, their hygiene will suffer, they will usually develop sores on their bodies (this is from picking at imagi nary bugs that most crystal meth addicts feel are there), they will have financial problems, their teeth will begin to rot, they will be paranoid, they will hallucinate, and they will give their life over to this drug. One of the terrifying things about crystal meth is that it causes a person to become obsessesed with obtaining more and more of the drug. Eventually, their life will revolve around this drug, they will be unable to think of anything else.
